Tanker filled with fuel falls and breaks into two on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway

There was a 16 hours standstill yesterday on the Lagos-Ibadan Express way when a 30,000 litre petrol tanker fell over and spilled fuel all over the road.
The tanker was leaving Lagos for Ogun State at 12 am yesterday when it ran into a pothole by New Garage, Berger.
The impact of the fall was so heavy that the tanker was cut into two.
But thankfully, government agencies were on hand to stall any type of tragedy.

No life was lost, though the driver and passenger in the tanker sustained various degrees of injuries.
