Boston Marathon Tragedy: 3 dead and over 130 people injured

Tragedy struck today's Boston Marathon.  Details inside on the horrible explosions that have caused injuries and casualties this afternoon...
At today's Boston Marathon, double explosions occurred near the finish line that have, so far, injured 28 people critically and have killed 23.  The bombs exploded as the first of 27,000 runners crossed the finish line.
The blasts occurred a few seconds apart on opposite sides of the street, CNN Producer Matt Frucci reported.
There's no word on any clues that are leading officials to who/what caused the blasts.  But officials have said that teams are working to disassemble other bombs plated around Boston at this time.
Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick says “this is a horrific day in Boston" in a statement:

"My thoughts and prayers are with those who have been injured.  I have been in touch with the president, Mayor Menino and our public safety leaders. Our focus is on making sure that the area around Copley Square is safe and secured. I am asking everyone to stay away from Copley Square and let the first responders do their jobs.”
