Over 20 people were reported to have lost their lives in a most tragic way when a petrol filled tanker caught fire in Kudu village off Bida-Mokwa Road in Niger State, Nigeria.
According to an eye-witness, the tanker's driver lost control while trying to navigate a sharp corner around the village. Amongst the victims of the deadly accident was a police office while he was trying to rescue some victims.
