Following the horrific massacre of students in Mubi Polytechnic, Adamawa State on Tuesday, the Nigerian police in the state said yesterday that they have arrested many suspects.
President Goodluck Jonathan called the guesome off-campus attack "sad and shocking" and has ordered an investigation.
The police spokesman Mohammed Ibrahim said, "We have made several arrests-in fact we have arrested many suspects in connection with the killing" but he declined to give details, also Nigerian soldiers moved house to house on Wednesday in an urgent bid to hunt down the kiilers.
The police have given an official death toll of 25, saying at least 22 victims were students.
