Lagos State Government bans Molue from operating on Lagos Island


The Lagos State Government has barred big commercial buses, popularly known as "Molue" from operation on Lagos Island.

According to the government, these buses are not expected to ply Third Mainland, Eko and Carter bridges.

Authorities speaking said this move is to ensure adequate monitoring of the operations of commercial vehicles and compliance with traffic rules and regulations. LASTMA officials have been mandated to ensure strict compliance and impound any Molue that is found to have flouted the directive after September 4, 2013.
