An early morning fire today affected a section of Shoprite, the shopping mall in Ikeja Business District.The fire which is reportedly said to have started from Dr Price is currently being extinguished but the mall has been evacuated, the fire started at about 11am and caused panic among shoppers. Sources say that the Lagos State Fire Service, which has one of their offices situated behind the mall, responded promptly and the fire is being dealt with.
