Nigeria's Rita Dominic was announced winner of the 2012 Best Actress of the category at the Kalasha film and Television Awards held in Nairobi, Kenya for her role in the Kenyan movie 'Shattered'.
The award ceremony was organized by the Kenyan Film Commission.
Other actresses nominated in the same award category were Patricia Kihoro for her role in the film ‘Miss Nobody’ and Joan Amara for her role in the movie ‘Miss Pathetic’.
