Former Governor of Kogi State, Abubakar Audu has been declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC for offences bordering on conspiracy, stealing and misappropriation of public fund.
The governor had earlier failed to respond to invitation by EFCC and attempts by the anti-graft body to arrest him at his 32, Sulaiman Barau Street, Asokoro, Abuja residence on December 11, 2012 failed as he allegedly evaded arrest.
Audu has been accused of fraudulently amassing over N4bn while he was the Governor of the state between 1999 and 2003.
