Vice Admiral Mike Okhai Akhigbe passed away on Monday October 28th, He was the former Chief of General Staff and Vice President of Nigeria during the General Abdulsalam Abubakar led military government. The admiral who was aged 68 years old passed on in a New York hospital after battling with throat cancer for many years.
May his soul rest in perfect peace (Amen).
