Lionel Messi has emerged the winner of FIFA World Footballer of the year 2012 for the fourth time in a row.
He was the winner in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 making it a four straight win.
The event which took place yesterday at Zurich, Switzerland was well attended by world class sport administrators and footballers both retired and still active.
