Chris Okotie's Party and 27 other Parties lose License


The Independent National Electoral Commission has deregistered 28 political parties in Nigeria, including Pastor Chris Okotie's Fresh Democratic Party.

According to a report, "In the exercise of the powers conferred on it by the 1999 Constitution (as amended) and the Electoral Act 2010 (as amended), the Independent National Electoral Commission yesterday de-registered the following political parties:
